TODAY: Obama Campaign to Host Conference Call on Clinton’s Changing Views on NAFTA
CHICAGO, IL—The Obama Campaign will host a conference call for reporters at 12:15 PM EDT today to discuss the truth about Senator Clinton’s changing views on NAFTA. Despite her repeated attempts on the campaign trial to distance herself from the disastrous trade agreement, the facts are now clear: White House schedules released yesterday confirmed that Senator Clinton was, in fact, a major proponent for NAFTA—attending at least four meetings to advocate for its passage.
Obama Communications Director Robert Gibbs will discuss Clinton’s double-talk on the issue, and the importance of electing a President we can trust to be candid about their views and consistent in standing up for American workers.
