Coastal State Governors Host Conference Call to Highlight McCain’s Flip Flops on Off-Shore Drilling and Renewable Energy

Chicago, IL – As John McCain continues to push his energy plan today in Missouri, Coastal State Governors Mike Easley (NC) and John Corzine (NJ) and former Florida Governor Bob Graham will join reporters to highlight McCain’s flip flops on drilling and neglect of support for renewable energy.

Speaking to a group of oil executives yesterday, John McCain said he opposed a windfall profits tax he previously said he’d be open to and supported drilling off our coasts when he previously opposed such drilling.
