Will Bayh Be Announced As VP This Week?

The rumor mongering has hit a fever pitch. I’m not interested in making a prediction on whether that’s true, but I will say that this whole episode sounds somewhat similar to the whole “Ned Yost is Going to be Fired” angle from Badger Blogger earlier this year (that turned out not to be true).
Point being, if you’re not sure, just sit and wait. Reporting breaking news is one thing. Guessing what the breaking news is going to be is another.
If it is indeed Evan Bayh, we’ll have a full recap and analysis of our own vetting later this week. However, just remember when -everyone knew- that it would be Tim Kaine. These things tend to change very quickly. We’ll see.

And you felt the need to work the gratuitous reference to my already admitted (yet thoroughly disclaimed at the time of posting) screw-up because… Because?
Because you’ve never “gone with your gut” (while offering a disclaimer that even a three-year old child would have understood) and then apologized sevenfold for it afterward?
Give me a break. Get over this. That Ned Yost post was the best thing that could have ever possibly happened to this team, the last 10 days notwithstanding.
I’m still waiting for my gift basket from the Yost family.
I only wish I had the balls (and lack of journalistic integrity) to do another one. It might light a fire under this team’s collective butts.
