TODAY: Obama Campaign to Hold Conference Call to Discuss New Jobs Numbers

CHICAGO, IL – The Obama campaign will host a conference call today with U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill, economic advisor Jared Bernstein and Director of Economic Policy Jason Furman to discuss the new employment figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The nation’s unemployment rate zoomed to a five-year high of 6.1 percent in August as employers slashed 84,000 jobs.
