Palin, Oprah, and the Media

September 6, 2008 | Permalink

A VIce Presidential candidate on a ticket with a very old Presidential candidate will not do any media appearances for two weeks. She also has never - NEVER - been questioned about important issues of the day, including any questions related to foreign policy and other national issues.

What is reported on? That a fluff interviewer will not have her on. Please. This is themost stupid stories I have ever seen in my life. Can we come back to reality, please? I’m not concerned with her personal life or “how she does it” or the types of questions Oprah asks. The country should be interested in seeing how she thinks under pressure.

Let’s have the Oprah discussion after she does Meet the Press, This Week, Face the Nation, Fox News Sunday, etc. As in all of the above, not one of the above. Then we can worry about afluff interview in midday.

I will stop reading and linking to anyone that furthers this ridiculous and idiotic meme.

This isn’t against having her on. But let’s prioritize, please?

This kind of crap is what gives women a bad name. The news media is begging for an interview with Sarah Palin and republican women are worried about Palin being on the Oprah show?
