Now racism against whites is acceptable. Blacks are doing to whites what whites would be arrested for. Evil and the Obamanaion have now become one

Race should have nothing to do with it, but obviously it did. I have nothing against Obama’s color it’s the Democratic mind set. I work hard for everything I have. No one handed it to me. The “Free Hand-out’s” mind set is not what my country was founded on.
I am a Veteran like Sen McCain, have a 2nd career (<7 yrs to 2nd retirement), put 2 daughters through college and am almost debt free. It pains me to see people who aren’t willing to work for things. It’s so easy to spend someone else’s dime.
Now that the Presidential election results are out and people are celebrating that a “No accomplishment Senator” will be President……standby. We’ll see if you’re still smiling 4 years from now. You think your paying a lot of taxes now…..look again in 6 months. You will have no one else to blame, but the person in the mirror.
GOD “Bless” America….. Rev. Jeremiah Wright : not what you said

Just let it happen whats wrong with voting for obama? We gave a republican a chance for 8 years and our country only got worse for us. Now we have a “CHANGE” i was a marine for 12 years. I got out last year and i dont ever want to go back. the only thing that drived me was my family and that i am helping keep them and my country safe. But if the war ended which is what obama is trying to do then thier is no more war which is what i want. and it is so vigourus out thier if you only saw how my friend got his limb blown off from a mine. you would cry…. -Captain-

It is a wonderful thing to see Barack Obama in the White House. Considereing
the population who voted for him maybe we are getting over our prejudices.
America is a nation of every ethnic group and it is wonderful that we can judge a person on their abilities. Mr. Obama is a very intelligent man with ideas and remedies. I am certainly grateful for having the opportunity to cast my vote for him.
It is about time that areas of the country get over their prejudices and start being
Christian to every member of society.

Isn’t there someone out there to edit the psycho-freak so called conservative comments out of this blog? What a disgrace. You allow bigots to spread their vile crap here. Sad. America will thrive under a government of, by and for the people. No more idiot religious right wing military industrial worship. Thank mother nature.

Why vote for a Republican who is actually a Democrat-lite (Chris Shays, for example)
when you can vote for a real (left-leaning) Democrat.

Have seen a poll reporting most people think members of Congress are more interested in their careers than in serving the people. Federalist 57 advises our leaders to work for “the common good of the society” and stay close to the people if we are to avoid tyranny.

All GOP needs to do to be the majority party in Washington is to follow the counsel of Madison in Federalist 57. And be willing to stand up against Democratic demagoguery and meanspiritedness and arrogance.. President-elect Obama,
in his victory statement recalled that we are supposed to have government of by and for the people. He might have added that, in fact, we have government of, by and for the insiders. It is not likely that the Zealocrats will change that, given their addiction to power, control and $$$.

Now if the GOP goes back to the Founders’ fundamentals,, they will again become a contender (apologies to “On the Waterfront” — perhaps as early as 2010.
